C3 Presents, producers of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival, announced in 2007 their newest event, The Big State Festival. A country music and lifestyle festival, the event would feature the top names in the genre alongside events like stock car racing, barbecue cook-offs, line dancing, and more. To build awareness for the event, we created Big State Games, an online experience of all things Big State.

Four interactive mini‐games were created to highlight key attractions to the event. In "Beat The Heat," fans tried their hand at managing a grill full of fast-cooking sausages. In "Buck Off," users had to hang on tight to a mechanical bull. "Country Star Dash" put fans in the shoes of a country music star, running to escape a mob of adoring admirers. And in "The Pits," users were challenged to change tires on stock cars at a frenetic pace.

Fans can view information about the event, view the lineup of performers, and of course, buy tickets. The site's radio player also features music from many of the festival's top performers.
