Welcome to Venus Embrace Shave School, the perfect mix of education, whimsy and humor in this promotional site for Gillette and the new Venus Embrace razor.
Working with Saatchi & Saatchi Canada and targeting young women who were new to shaving their legs, we created Shave School to offer guidance and education for a safe and enjoyable experience with the razor. Selecting the wrong methods for shaving resulted in amusing, girl-centric animations and gross hair growth. After completing the comedic course and getting their diploma, girls could sign up to receive a free Venus Embrace. Two weeks after launch Gillette shipped over 45,000 razors.
The site features playful sound design from Drastic and was delivered with localized content for both English and French Canadians.
