To promote the Google Search app on the iPhone, creative digital studio Grow Interactive developed a mobile ad experience to encourage users to explore the app. Using 3D printing, they made Uncover Your World, a miniature set of buildings and structures that represent Google’s virtual products in an analog setting.

In the ad, users can tap on the buildings to explore what the app has to offer (like voice, photo and location searching) through a number of different games. All of the components in the ad (the city view, interface and game elements) were modeled, printed, and then captured using stop motion and photography.
